Want to eat dinner with Leatherface? You can!
For one of the oddest horror-convention exclusives of all time, ultra-fans of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will be able to sit down and have family dinner with several cast members from the franchise. Here’s hoping you’re not the one being served for dinner.
Days of the Dead, which is slowly becoming one of the top cons in the United States, recently put on sale a $100 dinner experience at its upcoming Indianapolis show, July 5-8, at the Wyndham Indianapolis West.
Only 20 patrons will get the chance to experience this exclusive offer. For a solitary Benjamin, Massacre fans will enjoy a two-hour, three-course BBQ dinner (could they serve anything else?). Joining them for some messy, lip-smacking fun will be Gunnar Hansen, Bill Johnson, R.A. Mihailoff, Sam McKinzie, Edwin Neal and many more stars from the franchise.
Photo ops with a professional photographer will be offered (with complimentary photo CDs to bring home), plus a special edition laminate and poster.
Tickets went on sale today, Nov. 25, at noon. As of press time, all of the tickets were sold out. (Hint: Check back often, just in case something opens up. See the link below.)
The Days of the Dead convention takes place in several locations throughout the year. Before the Indianapolis festivities, there will be a three-day event in Atlanta, March 9-11. That convention will feature Roddy Piper, Sid Haig, Gary Busey, Bill Moseley, Heather Langenkamp and PJ Soles, among many other horror guests.

Pre-sale tickets typically run $20 each day, or $40 for the entire weekend. VIP passes, priced at $199, are also available until supplies last.
