NEW ORLEANS — George Porter Jr., the legendary bassist for the Meters, brought The Porter Trio to this year’s French Quarter Fest. They played Thursday, April 6 on the Abita Beer Stage. The group consists of Porter on bass and vocals, Michael Lemmler on keyboards and Terrence Houston on drums and vocals. Their set included many a funky tune.
