‘Xena’ fans unite! Lucy Lawless is back!
Creation Entertainment teased us last year with the so-called final Xena convention in Burbank, Calif. Well, it turns out the “Final Journey” has a part two, and many of the cast members from the iconic show will take to the stage once more to greet fans, sign autographs and pose for pictures.
The upcoming Xena convention will take place Jan. 11-13 at the Marriott Airport Hotel in Burbank. Tickets for the three-day festival are currently on sale, and this being the only official event of the year, consider buying early. The big name to be revealed recently is Lucy Lawless, Ms. Xena herself. She’ll be making an extra-rare appearance on Sunday, Jan. 13. Although Lawless won’t sign autographs, she will pose for photos. Buy these passes early! They go for $169, and will likely be sold out before you can say, “Warrior Princess.”
Other celebrities include: Brittney Powell, Hudson Leick, Sheeri Rappaport, Adrienne Wilkinson, Paris Jefferson, Victoria Pratt, Tsianina Joelson, Zoe Bell, William Gregory Lee, Ted Raimi, David Franklin, Steven L. Sears, Musetta Vander, Jennifer Sky, Willa O’Neill, Darien Takle and Katherine Fugate.
Tickets can be purchased at several levels. Gold packages cost $469, and they include reserved seating, several autographs, admission to the celebrity cabaret performance, admission to an exclusive disco party and seating at a charity breakfast / silent auction.
Silver packages, with less perks, go for $259. General admission for the entire weekend is $89. Individual days cost anywhere from $30 to $69.
The autographs run from $20 to $25. Remember this is Creation Entertainment, so you need to bring something to the table to have signed. No worries! There’s always a good vendors room with quality items.
Photo ops, except the one for Lawless, go for $40-$45.
The Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel is located at 2500 Hollywood Way in Burbank, Calif. Room reservations are only $134 a night (mention code XENA).
Leave your comments in the field below, and enjoy the convention.
